OPPO set to shake up Entry Level Camera phone in Kenya
OPPO was ranked as the number 4 Smartphone brand globally in 2016, according to IDC, and also 4th by market share seeks to replicate its success in Kenya, which is one of its strong holds by introducing its latest high end Camera Phone in the Kenyan market, the OPPO A57 targeting photo enthusiasts.
The new model which has a stunning 16MP selfie camera and a 13MP rear
camera is specifically made for photography lovers aiming to achieve
professional photographic effects.
“The brand has shown a tremendous growth in the Kenyan market over the last
two years, celebrating the release of the OPPO F1 series in mid-last
year which did unprecedentedly well,” Sky Li, OPPO VP and Managing Director.
The brand has promised to give a remarkable technological breakthrough that will change how the world sees the Smartphone photography by looking forward to release a series of Smartphone that will provide even more solutions to photography.
“For the last 10 years, we have been focusing on manufacturing camera phones, while innovating mobile photography technology breakthroughs,” said Li.
OPPO started the era of selfie beautification, and was the first brand to launch smartphones with 5MP and 16MP front cameras.
“We were was also the first brand to introduce the motorized rotating camera, the Ultra HD feature and the 5x Dual Camera Zoom technology. Our smartphone’s Selfie Expert F series launched in 2016 drove a selfie trend in the Smartphone industry,”added Li.
The phone is set to go on sale for Sh 23,990.
